Cynthia "Cindy" Miller

March 29, 1949 - May 24, 2022

Cynthia “Cindy” (Czarnota) Miller, 73, of Southington, beloved wife of Robert “Bob” Miller, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at the Hospital of Central Connecticut in New Britain. Born in New Britain, daughter of the late Lawrence “Larry” Czarnota and Dorothea “Dot” (Brause) Czarnota, she was a graduate of Southington High School, Class of 1967. Until her retirement in 2009, Cindy was employed as an Adult and Child Welfare Case Worker for the State of Connecticut, Department of Social Services. She was a very active member of Zion Lutheran Church in Southington. Cindy also volunteered for Southington Social Services; the Southington Bread for Life Group; the Prudence Crandall Center; and was a member of the Austrian Donau Club in New Britain. Besides her husband Bob, she is survived by many cousins and her good friends Joan of Cheshire and Chris of New Britain. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, June 1, 2022, 10:00 am at Zion Lutheran Church, 531 Woodruff Street, Southington. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, New Britain. Calling hours are Tuesday 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Carlson Funeral Home, 45 Franklin Square, New Britain.
