Ronald McLeod, 62, of New Britain, passed away Friday (April 29, 2022) at his home. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he lived in New Britain for over 20 years. Ronald worked at several area warehouses and was affiliated with the New Britain Friendship Service Center. Surviving is his sons, David Harris and his wife Shanell of Meriden; Ronald Harris and His wife Jade Harris of Meriden; Nakwanne Mcleod of Middletown; Jeremiah Mcleod of Meriden; Isaiah Mcleod of Bronx, NewYork ; daughters, Corinthian McLeod of Meriden; Chasity Daguillard of Miami, Florida; Denise Echevarria of New Haven; Shaquiasia Perry of Bristol , Maria Echevarria of Bronx, NewYork; 11 grandchildren ;2 great grandchildren; two brothers, Steve and Gary McLeod; two sisters, Denise McLeod of Brooklyn, NY and Theresa McLeod and her companion Major of Bronx, NY. Ronald was a man of many personalities going by the Name New York in his 20yrs living in New Britain. He’s known for always taking care of those in need, helping anyone looking for resources and providing friends with anything from a plate of food to clothing and more. Funeral service are Thursday May 12, 12 noon at Carlson Funeral Home, 45 Franklin Square, New Britain. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, New Britain. Calling hours are Wednesday 5 to 8 PM and Thursday morning 11 AM until the time of the service.
