Wilfred "Brud" Bulmahn

March 30, 1925 - September 26, 2019

W. H. “Brud” Bulmahn passed away Thursday, September 26, at the age of 94. Born in New Britain, he is a graduate of New Britain High School, Class of 1941. Brud was a proud member of the Battery D, 3rd Antiaircraft Training Battalion in World War II, seeing extensive action in Europe, including the famous D-Day invasion. He was also a 32nd degree Mason, a successful business owner, and a master mechanic and owned and operated Flying Dutchman Marine Service in Berlin. Brud is survived by his brother-in-law, David Snell. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Gloria after a half century of marriage together. He died peacefully at his home in Rocky Hill, Connecticut. There will be a private family celebration of his life. The Carlson Funeral Home, New Britain is assisting with arrangements.
