Thomas Salvatore Pedemonti

Thomas Salvatore Pedemonti, 91, passed peacefully to heaven from his home in Farmington on Tuesday April 28, 2026. He was born on November 26, 1934, the son of John and Elia (Molta) Pedemonti. He was predeceased by his first wife Nina, second wife June, sister-in-law Susan Pedemonti, niece Amy Pedemonti and stepson Russell Holcomb. Thomas grew up in Kensington where he was a boy scout, an altar boy under Monsignor Thomas Greylish, and a graduate of E.C Goodwin Tech in New Britain. He served in the U.S. Army from 1957 to 1959. He is a 3rd degree Knight with the Knights of Columbus, a lifelong member of the Italian Independent Political Club of Kensington, and a former corporator of the Berlin Savings Bank. He and his brother Richard were the owners of Town and Country Furniture and Gifts in Kensington from 1960 to 2003, which was a staple in town. Thomas and Richard also built their custom colonials on Beckley Road in the mid 1960’s. He enjoyed winters in Florida, summers in Vermont, fishing, traveling, weekends at Lime Rock Park, watching his NY Yankees and all gatherings with family and friends. He leaves behind his brother, Richard V. Pedemonti, of Higganum and Port St. Lucie, FL, his son, Mark J. Pedemonti and his partner, Antoinette Logan, of Old Saybrook, his daughter Lisa Pedemonti-DiPietro and her husband Lucian, of Gloucester, MA, his stepdaughter Beth Nadeau and husband Steve of Raymond, ME. Also eight grandchildren; John and Ally Pedemonti of Kensington, CT, Francesca Pedemonti-Willis and her husband Tyler of Merrimack, NH, Dominic Pedemonti of Dover, NH, Kelsey Noyes and her husband Ryan of Saco, ME, Tyler and Erin Nadeau of San Diego, CA, Jarron Nadeau and his wife Schyler of Portland, ME, Maelah Nadeau of Chicago, IL, and Jackson Holcomb of Driggs, ID. He will be missed by two great grandchildren Charles and Dorothy Pedemonti. A special thanks to Renata, Ewa and everyone at Polish Caregivers of Farmington. Funeral services will be at St Pauls Church, 461 Alling St, Kensington on Monday May 4th at 10 AM. Burial with military honors will take place at Rose Hill Memorial Park, Rocky Hill immediately following the Mass. Calling hours will be Sunday May 3, 2026 from 5 to 7pm and Monday 8:30 to 9:30 AM at Carlson Funeral Home, 45 Franklin Sq, New Britain.
